Today Communication System span the entire world carrying voice, text, pictures and a variety of other information. Down through ages, people have devised numerous methods for communicating their thoughts and needs to others. As Civilization spread over large areas it was necessary to develop methods of long distance communication. Early attempts for communication included smoke signals, light beams, carrier pigeons and letters. With the beginning of Industrial Revolution the need for fast and accurate methods of communication became more compelling.

Communication System employing electrical signals to convey information from one place to another over a pair of wires was the solution to the problem of fast and accurate long distance communication.

Inventions in this field have led to the creations of Radio, TV, Satellite, and Mobile communication, which were undreamt long back.

Coming to our Laboratory which is organized with the sufficient equipments and components that are required to conduct various experiments involved in Analog Communication Lab and Advanced Communication Lab. Communication laboratory is a vital part of Electronics & Communication Engineering course.

In this Lab student gets exposure to various techniques involved in design of modulation and demodulation, filters and gets knowledge about Microwave communication along with Optical Fiber Communication. In addition to this Student can verify Digital modulation & demodulation techniques by using available Digital Communication Trainer Kits. Each Student can conduct experiments individually.

Experienced faculties and Expert Instructors take keen interest in training the students.
